About this role
Join Greentek India Limited's residential solar team, primarily delivering 3-10 kW rooftop installations. 1 position(s). Relevant experience: 2-5 years.
Gross salary range: INR 35,000–45,000 per month before employee deductions. Approved site expenses are separate.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare residential solar PV designs, mainly 3-10 kW: module layouts, stringing, SLDs and equipment layouts.
- Prepare cable sizing/voltage-drop calculations, protection, earthing and lightning-protection drawings appropriate to the project.
- Select and check inverter/module combinations and prepare BOQs/BOMs and cable schedules.
- Use AutoCAD and solar design/simulation tools for shading, layout and yield checks as required.
- Issue controlled drawings before installation, manage revisions and provide technical support to site teams.
Requirements
- Diploma, B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical / EEE.
- 2-5 years in solar PV design or relevant electrical engineering.
- AutoCAD and Excel proficiency; PVsyst and SketchUp / HelioScope capability preferred.
- Competence in string voltage/current checks, DC/AC sizing, voltage drop, equipment selection and BOQ preparation.
- Ability to explain design assumptions and apply relevant electrical/solar standards.
