As the organization scales, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on Finance Head to lead the finance function and build a world-class financial control environment.
About the Role
The Finance Head will be responsible for leading the company's finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, compliance, budgeting, cost control and MIS functions. The role calls for a strong business partner who can support rapid growth, improve profitability, strengthen cash flow management and implement robust financial controls through ERP-driven processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, renewable energy, engineering or project-based businesses.

Key responsibilities
- Strategy: lead the overall Finance & Accounts function across Greentek Group entities and act as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team.
- Develop financial strategies supporting growth, expansion and profitability, and drive financial discipline and governance across the organization.
- Build and mentor a high-performance finance team.
- FP&A: prepare annual budgets, operating plans and business forecasts, and monitor budget versus actual performance.
- Analyze profitability by business vertical, project, product and geography, and develop scenario-based financial models.
- MIS: establish daily, weekly and monthly management dashboards and present monthly financial performance to management.
- Develop project-wise profitability and cost-control reports, and support board and investor reporting requirements.
- Treasury: manage cash flow planning and liquidity, monitor debtor collections and creditor payments, and optimize working capital utilization.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, and handle CC limits, bank guarantees, letters of credit and project financing.
- Cost control: implement cost monitoring systems, track profitability across projects and business units, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and working capital efficiency, and establish financial controls for procurement and project execution.
- Accounting: ensure timely and accurate finalization of books of accounts, and supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions.
- Ensure implementation of accounting policies and SOPs, strengthen internal controls, and lead periodic financial reviews and audits.
- Compliance: ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, the Companies Act, ROC filings, and statutory and internal audits.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, bankers and regulatory authorities, and manage financial and business risk assessments.
- ERP: drive finance automation through ERPNext, implement workflow-based financial approvals, and improve reporting through Power BI dashboards.
- Ensure data integrity and system controls, and lead finance digitization initiatives.
- Project finance: monitor EPC project costs and profitability, track project billing and collections, and review project cash flow forecasts.
- Evaluate project financial risks and contingencies, and support commercial negotiations and contract reviews.
Requirements
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance). CA preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in finance leadership, ideally in manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, renewable energy, engineering or project-based businesses.
- Strong financial planning and analysis capability.
- Working capital management, budgeting and forecasting expertise.
- Banking and treasury management experience, including CC limits, bank guarantees, letters of credit and project financing.
- Project finance experience across EPC or infrastructure projects.
- Proven strategic business partnering with leadership.
- Team leadership and mentoring experience.
- ERPNext / SAP / Oracle ERP exposure.
- Advanced Excel and MIS skills; Power BI knowledge preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Preferred sector background: Solar EPC, renewable energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, engineering projects, electrical industry or industrial products.
