Solar Power Heater – Evacuated Tube Collector

Evacuated Tube Collector is made of double layer Borosilicate glass tubes evacuated for providing insulation. The outer wall of the inner tube is coated with selective material. This helps absorption of solar radiation and transfers the heat to the water which flows through the inner tube. 

Normally non pressurized systems are working up to .5 Kg /Cm2, The storage tank is placed a certain height relative to the top of the collector to prevent the reverse circulation during off‐sunshine hours. In this system, hot water storage tank can be under normal pressure of cold water overhead tank so gravitational force of overhead cold water tank comes to boom of hot water tank at normal pressure (non‐pressurized); hot water comes out from top of hot water solar tank and release at the end of top as a regular.
